You are right, Eric. Goailes were finally allowed to drop down in the 1924-25 season. So Vezina did have one full year to flop around.

You know, everyone always talks about Plante, Dryden and Roy. But rarely will people ever mention Vezina. The guy has a trophy named after him!

Gonna move this thread over to our Hockey History section. Vezina, to Hainsworth. Was he ever worthy of taking the mantle for Montreal or what?
