as I've been saying since Stevie Y picked his Olympic roster, I don't buy him as a GM. if the Olympics was on Olympic sized ice, Canada, and US for that matter, get throttled. Stevie Y got lucky. as for what he's done for the Lightning so far. He stole Gagne, but Gagne is guaranteed to get injured. It's how he rolls. Tampa doesn't have nearly enough defense or goaltending to compete for a Cup, and I highly doubt they even make the playoffs. They really aren't any better than last year.

Just had to say it's sad to see Stevie in different colours. After all the grooming in Detroit, it looked like he was set to take over, but alas his time in Hockeytown is over.

I am sure he will carry himself in the same way he always has, with class, and the utmost professionalism. Tampa sure is lucky to have him, and I am sure the players and organization will benefit.
