I am stunned. I was not expecting that kind of result. I thought it would be 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 kind of game; maybe a shootout would be needed.

Team Canada was focused and dominated. They ignored all the hype, all the pressure and played a solid game. The main factor is Roberto Luongo. He's playing in his home arena and looks comfortable and confident. That is something that carries over to his teammates.

I originally said that Marty is the guy, but I take it back. Sometimes, experience doesn't equal success.

Next up: The Semi-Finals. But first: The gold-medal final for women's hockey.

Some game notes...

ONE: This was NOT Crosby beating Ovie. Neither one had a big impact

TWO: WOW. NOw that's how you pplay hockey. Pressure for 60 solid minutes.

THREE: The torch is passed. You were great for Canada marty, now it's Luongo's Turn

FOUR: What did Yzerman really say in that dressing room?

Amazing game to watch. It was a true team effort and now we have to wait and see who we'll face on Friday. Canada can't look past Sweden or Slovakia. More good hockey to come!
