The Bears have done it again! Hershey wins the 2009-10 Calder Cup after defeating the Texas Stars in six games. Give them two straight titles and 11 in total.

Well folks, what did you think of the AHL final?

Big-time onions were shown by the Hershey Bears last night.

The Bears defeated the Stars 2-1 in OT to take a 3-2 series lead.

The road team has won every single game. Will this trend continue on Monday or will the Bears capture the Calder Cup?

The series is tied 2-2. Game five goes tonight. So far, the road team has won all four games.

Thoughts?

Holy crow! That was quite a West Final. The Stars with three OT victories; force a game 7....and win!

Round 2 in the Western Conference is set!

How about the Abbotsford Heat? Defeated the legendary Rochester Americans in 7 games. And now, they face Hamilton for the North Division title. Meanwhile, Chicago avoids the embarrassment of letting a 3-0 lead slip away by beating Milwaukee in seven games. The Wolves will face Texas.

    So to recap:

    North Division Final (WC)

    Abbotsford vs. Hamilton

    West Division Final (WC)

    Chicago vs. Texas

    Atlantic Division Final (EC)

    Worchester vs. Manchester

    East Division Final (EC)

    Albany vs. Hershey

Two teams from the Western Conference had advanced: Hamilton and Texas.

There are two game seven matches on tap: Abbotsford/Rochester and Chicago/Milwaukee. Looks like the Wolves weren't able to seal the deal against the Admirals.

Meanwhile, round two in the east has begun. Hershey leads 2-0 over Albany, Worchester leads Manchester 1-0.

    Thoughts?

The Eastern Conference has wrapped up the first round. Very neat and tidy in fact. Your winners: Worchester, Manchester, Hershey and Albany.

Eastern Semis will have Worchester against Manchester, while Hershey takes on Albany.

The Western conference is still working on their first round. Good chance Chicago will be the first western team to advance to round 2.
