The news continually gets worse on Long Isand.  Devastating shoulder injuries have now depleted the hard luck squad of their best D-man and best RW'er.  First, Mark Streit appears to be lost for the season after tearing his labrum and rotator cuff.  And today Kyle Okposo's traumatized shoulder will put him out of commission until at least December.  Who will pick up the slack?  Will it be Jack Hillen for Streit?  The Isles signed Mike Motteau but he will certainly not replace Streit.  And who will take over for Okposo?  The choices are Niederreiter, Comeau and Parenteau.  I'm guessing it will be Comeau. Wow. It's not easy being an Islander fan.
