As H-54’s Co-Founder, and the host and on-air personality of H-54 TV, Launy is unlike any host or broadcaster in the world of hockey. Synonymous with his old SK-2000 “bucket,” The Schwartz has become a recognizable and likeable figure.
Who is Hockey Girl?
Dahlia [pronounced dal-yah] Kurtz is the Hockey Girl. The site’s other Co-Founder and Co-Host of The 54 Lounge, Dahlia is a professional TV, radio, and print journalist with a background in many media, including the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). The moniker Hockey Girl was given to her by NHL players and fans at the 2009 NHL Awards in Vegas. And though she has two brothers, Dahlia’s lifelong love of the game made her the son her father never had (so to speak).
